Sponsored by the Wharton Neuroscience Initiative (WiN) and Analytics at Wharton, the Applied Neuroscience and Business Analytics Fellowship funds up to 4 undergraduate students for a 10-week internship working with Wharton Neuroscience affiliated faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. This program specifically seeks to fund underrepresented undergraduate students from non-Penn colleges, and students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities are particularly encouraged to apply.
The internship was conceived to combat systemic inequalities and the lack of diversity in neuroscience, behavioral science, analytics, and data science careers. By working closely with underrepresented students in the field, Wharton Neuroscience and Analytics at Wharton hope to expand the pipeline of job candidates who may not even be thinking of neuroscience and data analytics as career choices.
Students awarded Wharton Applied Neuroscience and Business Analytics Fellowships receive a stipend of $6000 for ten weeks of full-time research with a Wharton Neuroscience affiliated faculty member, and are provided with on-campus housing as part of a larger cohort of summer students under the MindCORE Summer Fellowship Program. In this program, all non-Penn students are housed together and provided mentoring, research talks, technical training, social events, and other support as part of a large and diverse group of summer scholars.
Wharton Applied Neuroscience and Business Analytics Fellows will be selected from among those applications to the MindCORE Summer Fellowship Program. Non-Penn students interested in this program should apply through the MindCORE Summer Fellowship Program Application. Learn more and apply.
