The Penn Neuroscience Public Lecture Series: Each semester, Penn Neuroscience graduate students organize a series of free TED talk-style lectures open to the public in order to showcase some of the exciting neuroscience research ongoing at Penn and other research institutions in the Philadelphia community. The goal is to attract audiences from various backgrounds and spread awareness about research, its relevance to the public, and how the public's tax dollars are being spent.
